A Geek and a Twit

Okay, now I’ve got this iPhone, the technological antithesis of actual face-to-face conversation.  Yet, somehow, at the same time, it’s dramatically increasing my amount of contact with others:

  • With a real keypad, I can now text as fast as a teenager.  Um…well, I don’t think anyone over 30 can do that, but you get the idea.
  • All my new iPhone partners-in-geekdom are all on AT&T.  That means unlimited minutes to them.
  • I now Twitter.  I don’t know why.  I must be under the delusion people care what I’m doing or what I have to say.  Anyway, my Twitter ID is xptmusicguy.  Follow me, if you dare… Or if you’ve lost cable and don’t have a DVD player or any friends or a job or…you get the idea.
  • Facebook, WordPress, all that… in the palm of my hand.

Heck, you might not even be a real person, but you could still be my friend this day and age.

I thought your Twitter ID is xptworshipguy not musicguy?

      yeah.

a few weeks ago, we were walking in our subdivision after dinner with my folks, and a big spider like that ran across the sidewalk. The egg sack was still attached. My dad stepped on it, and dozens of tiny spiders went evereywhere. It was like freakin’ freaky.

Then last week, another one was going across the driveway, I got the spider spray and blasted it.

      No mess.

      LOL

btw the Gamecube controller didn’t work with SMB on the Wii. It must be a programming issue with SMB. Because, SMB 3, which I also downloaded plays just fine with the Wii remote. I’ll get your controller back to you tonight or tomorrow.
