It’s been a fun summer of worship and some fun message-related secular songs thrown in for good measure.

  • The MANdolin was fun to play and it MADE the R.E.M. song work.
  • “Alcohol” – nothing gets a Decatur, AL crowd going more than a country song about beer.
  • “Cry Mercy” – Jack’s last great big guitar solo absolutely rocked, and even had some people in tears (those who knew it was his last time playing at Crosspoint).
  • Hoobastank’s “Running Away” – that’s just a great song, and a great way to kick off a study in Jonah.
