What a Sunday…

Yesterday was probably one of the most…intense…Sundays we’ve had yet.  In spite of Dave’s headache, my raspy voice, some mid-service technical goofs, and that imminent feeling that the whole thing’s about to derail, everything came out great in the end:

  • There were 178 people there.  That’s a record high for us (and not on an Easter!).  But what is really cool isn’t the numbers, it’s the momentum that seems to be building week-to-week.  People are coming, and they’re loving it…and, best of all, they’re coming back (with friends).
  • God was there, and Satan got his butt kicked.

Dave details the message in his post about Sunday, so I won’t go into all the details here.  But here are the videos we showed Sunday:

Video 1 – “Talladega Dave”

Video 2 – “Talladega Dave” – the “Magoo” cut (blowing a tire coming out of turn 4)

Video 3 – “Prison Break – Trailer” – trailer for the upcoming series at Crosspoint.

Here’s the setlist:

  • “The Flame in All of Us” – Thousand Foot Crutch
  • “The Noise We Make” – Passion Worship Band
  • “Our Love Is Loud” – David Crowder Band (trying playing this one with an out-of-tune guitar…d’oh!)
  • “A Thousand Hallelujahs” – Mark Roach
  • “All Because of Jesus” – Steve Fee

“Drivin’s not that difficult unless your Mr. MaGoo” That pretty much says it al! LOL

  2. Scottie – Knowing that the Magoo virus may have spread to Chattanooga, couldn’t this song also be about Mark? Heh…

  3. Kyle says:

Cool Videos! Awesome news on the crowd!
