Rain, rain, on my face…

Actually, that’s the first line to the old Jars of Clay song “Flood” from about 10 years ago.  It aptly describes the rain we’ve been getting.

Rain is good.  Long summers of drought and 100+ heat are not.  This rain is very welcome…and so will the 52 degree low temp forecast for tonight.  Wow.  There’s something very metaphoric about God’s grace after long periods of drought in here somewhere.

Been working on a video for church ALL week long.  In fact, I was up until 3:00 a.m. last night/this morning finishing up pictures that will be used in the video.  This project is a departure from the norm, since the video is comprised of a lot of images manipulated in Photoshop.  It’s amazing how tedious that kind of work can be.  I’m laughing out loud at some of the “scenes” in the video, though, so I’m hoping the payoff will be well worth the effort.
