Thought I’d post the songsets we’ve been doing just to let people know what we play at Crosspoint from week to week:

July 1:

  1. Glorious One – Steve Fee
  2. Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) – Chris Tomlin
  3. Here Is Our King

Last Sunday (July 8 ):

  1. Your Grace Is Enough – Chris Tomlin
  2. Your Name Is Holy, Holy – Jeff Deyo
  3. Rain Down – Delirious
  4. You Never Let Go – Matt Redman

This coming Sunday (July 15):

  1. Marvelous Light – Charlie Hall
  2. Nothing But the Blood – Matt Redman
  3. Yearn – Shane and Shane
  4. Oceans from the Rain – Seventh Day Slumber

The last song, “Oceans from the Rain,” is extremely powerful and my current ‘fave’ as a worship song.

  1. Steve says:

    Nice worship set.
Could you post your order of service?
    Songs, annoucements, offering, message?

  2. Steve, we’re currently in a series called “Vintage Jesus,” where we’re exploring traditional church practices/disciplines…last week was “fasting,” this week was “Baptism,” next week will be “Communion.” Here’s a rough outline of our order of service from this morning’s service dealing with baptism:

    – Video: Countdown (5:00) + announcement slides
    – Song – “Marvelous Light”
    – Song – “Nothing but the Blood”
    – Prayer
    – Song – “Yearn”
    – short prayer (crowd seated)
    – Video (bumper/transitional video – Topic: Vintage Jesus + “man on the street” interviews with people in the park, asking, “What is Baptism?”)
    – MESSAGE – (embedded video clips: baptism scenes from “Nacho Libre” and “O Brother, Where Art Thou”)
    – Response Song – “Oceans from the Rain”

Normally, we don’t have an offering time (we collect our offering with a basket located in the back of the room). Also, our bumper video (not the interviews) is posted on our website:

    Last week’s flow (fasting):

    1. Countdown video (5:00) + announcement slides
    2. Welcome and song: “Your Grace Is Enough”
    3. Song – “Your Name Is Holy, Holy”
    4. Song – “Rain Down”
    5. Bumper video: “Vintage Jesus”
    6. MESSAGE (embedded videos: (1) man on the street interviews: “What do you think fasting is?” (2) Scene from “King of Queens” about prayer.
    7. Response song: “You Never Let Go”

  3. Steve says:

    Thanks for the info.
Looks like a great teaching series as well.
    Have a great week!
