Check Engine

If my body had a warning light, it’d be flashing this morning.  I had a persistent headache yesterday that, strangely, is still here today – along with a sore throat and what I assume is a Logan’s Roadhouse club steak-related need to spend inordinate amounts of time numbing my cheeks on the porcelain throne.

So, here I sit…so here I blog.  Too much information?  Well, I think we’d all be surprised how many people blog on their laptops from the toilet.  Sadly, in our rapid-fire culture, it’s just about the quietest place on the planet anymore.  In there, you’re alone.  And no one WANTS to actually come bother you.  There’s no phone in here, either.  All we need is a new-fangled toilet with a reclining seatback and a flat panel LCD TV on the wall, and we might never leave.

Seriously, there’s so much going on this week that I hope my sore throat is not the onset of some illness.  Yikes.  Unfortunately, we are getting into allergy season, and…I guess I’m allergic to Alabama (I never had a bad allergy problem until I moved here).  So sinus malfunctions are probably inevitable for the next 2 months.  Time to stock up on Flonase and Zyrtec.

And Pepto.
