I’ve got a stitch in my side…

Don’t you hate it when you’re running, then your side starts to hurt.  So you stop running.  You’re out of breath, so you lean against something to breathe and attempt to contort your body in such a way to stretch out the pain in your side.  I’ll call it the “stitch dance” – like a cross between John Travolta disco and the breathing instructions in a Lamaz class.

Figuratively, I’m doing the stitch dance.  So much has been going on lately.  We’ve been running 100 mph and, though there’s no end in sight, this Monday Morning has been – at least – a brief pause in the chaos.  So there’s stuff to celebrate.  In spite of the chaos, the week ended on a productive note at church yesterday.  (See J-mo’s blog below for video of the service – I’m the unseen guy in the video playing the piano).

Though we have a brief amount of time to get ahead before Easter in the next few weeks, the time is still going to prove to be busy.

– Must plan/program the Easter series

– Must still pull off weekly services.

– Must get taxes done.

– Must attend “Unleashed” retreat in S.C. this week.

Somehow, I’ve got to find some personal “Sabbath” time for me and my wife in the midst of all this…
